Aishwarya Rai Shah Rukh Kahn Reunion On The Horizon; Rohit Shetty Discusses Screenplay With `Devdas’ Stars

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the Bollywood Legend, may reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time since they burned up the screen in "Devdas."
Absolute India reported that Shah Rukh Khan approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play a role in the director Rohit Shetty's next project. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will star alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Based on their past pairing Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan promise to sizzle together in Rohit Shetty's next movie.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play the heroine in the new movie. According to rumors, Rohit met with Aishwarya to discuss the script. Aishwarya and Shah Rukh Khan haven't been paired together since Sanjay Leela Bhansali's blockbuster "Devdas." The news joins reports that  the new Shah Rukh Khan film will also star Kajol in Rohit Shetty's upcoming film.
In 2000, Shah Rukh and Aishwarya were featured together as siblings in the film "Josh." Aishwarya put in a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's film "Mohabbatein," which co-starred Amitabh Bachchan. Rai also appeared in Shah Rukh Khan' film "Shakti."
Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were a Bollywood phenomenon after they played together in  Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2002 magnum opus "Devdas." The have not been seen together onscreen since.
The new movie will be Shah Rukh and Rohit's second project. In 2013 Rohit starred in the superhit "Chennai Express," which starred Deepika Padukone.
After a sabbatical of four years, Aishwarya Rai will next be seen on the big screen in Sanjay Gupta's film "Jazbaa" which also stars Irrfan Khan.
Aishwarya Rai is internationally known as "most beautiful woman in the world." She is best known to American audiences for the films "The Last Legion" with Colin Firth, "Bride and Prejudice" and "Mistress of Spices." Her husband Abishek Bachan is a star on the rise. His latest film, "Dhoom 3" hit theaters this weekend and is on the way to becoming a box office smash.

Ileana D'Cruz opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Fan?

The film is slated to release on August 14, 2015.

Shah Rukh Khan has already started shooting for Yash Raj Films' Fan that is directed by Maneesh Sharma.

Although the shoot of the film has started, leading lady of the film is not yet known. There are many names doing the rounds for the same. If reports are to be believed Ileana D'Cruz has bagged the role opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Currently, the actress is busy wrapping up the Saif Ali Khan starrer Happy Ending.

Fan, produced by Aditya Chopra and written by Habib Faisal is the story of a fan who is on a mission to meet the one he has idolized for long.

The film is slated to release on August 14, 2015.

When Hrithik asked for a cigarette from Shah Rukh

Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan may not be best of buddies but that didn't stop them in indulging in some friendly banter.


It was filmmaker Karan Johar's birthday bash and both the actors were present there. During the party, Hrithik felt a need to smoke but relaised that he had left his cigarettes at home.


So, he went upto SRK, who was puffing away in a corner, for a cigarette. Shah Rukh being the humurous person that he is gave what Hrithik asked for but with a funny comment.
"Yeh acting wali cigarette hai. After smoking this you will learn how to do this," said Shah Rukh, making his signature gesture of opening his arms wide open.

Hrithik was quick to respond in a similar way.  "Now that you have lent me a cigarette, you will be able to do this too," he said, breaking into the famous move from Ek Pal Ka Jeena from his film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.

SRK richer than Cruise in H'wood-Bollywood rich list


New York, May 21 (PTI) Shah Rukh Khan is the lone Indian celebrity to make it to a list of the top ten wealthiest Hollywood and Bollywood personalities by beating stars like Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp.

The 48-year-old actor, who is the owner of an IPL team and acted in more than 50 Bollywood films, has come second on the Wealth-X's list with an estimated fortune of USD 600 million.

Shah Rukh Khan gifts black SUV to Farah Khan, bike to Abhishek

Choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan said she was deeply moved after receiving a brand new black SUV from her superstar friend Shah Rukh Khan.

Farah, 49, and SRK have been keeping busy with the filming of her upcoming action-comedy Happy New Year, which reunites the actor with his Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone.

"Look what I got!!!! Thank you... Touched and beyond," Farah tweeted along with a picture of the car.

In the picture Farah and SRK are all smiles while leaning against the brand new SUV.

After Shah Rukh, Juhi, Shilpa and Preity Zinta, Bollywood actor Salman Khan to own stake in IPL team?

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan is reportedly interested in owning a stake in an Indian Premier League (IPL) team.

The superstar was recently present at a marathon organized by BJ Wadia hospital for under priviledged children. Wadia group scion Ness Wadia was also present at the event and it is believed that Salman enquired about the IPL from Ness, English daily Mid-Day reported. 

Ness owns the team Kings XI Punjab along with former girlfriend Preity Zinta.

Quoting sources, the report says that there is no clear indication that he will pick up a stake in an IPL team of his choice. 

"He has been making inquiries with Ness. In fact, he has also been asking his other friends about the same. The actor is trying to work out how he can get a piece of the IPL pie as he loves cricket and has a lot of cricketer friends," the report quotes the sources as saying.

Several Bollywood stars hold shares in various teams of the IPL. 

Shah Rukh Khan along with Juhi Chawla and husband Jai Mehta are the co-owners of Kolkata Knight Riders. Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are the co-owners of Rajasthan Royals. 

Salman's brother Sohail Khan also owns Mumbai Heroes, a cricket team that plays in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).
