Karisma Kapoor Attends Dance Show With Former Husband Sunjay Kapur

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and her former husband, Delhi-based industrialist, Sunjay Kapur together watched their daughter Samaira perform at famous choreographer Shiamak Davar's dance show in Mumbai yesterday.

The actress was the doting mother as she listened intently to her daughter while Sunjay seemed to take a keen interest in their chatter.

Karisma's divorce from Sunjay was reportedly finalised in June this year with her brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan reportedly brokering peace between the couple who have been dogged by divorce rumours for years.

The actress married Sunjay on September 29, 2003, a time when she was at the peak of her acting career. Their marriage reportedly hit rock bottom after the birth of their daughter Samaira who was born in 2005.

Karisma moved back to Mumbai temporarily after which the couple patched-up and had a second child - son Kiaan Raj Kapur, who was born in 2010. However, rumours of infidelity on Sunjay's part persisted.

Karisma, who made a poorly-received comeback with Dangerous Ishhq in 2012, has been living in Mumbai with her children for some time now and is a regular at A-list parties and events.

Karisma's Cuties, Samaira and Kiaan, Are Growing Up Fast

It seemed like just yesterday that we watched Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor's children Samaira and Kiaan Raj toddle beside their mother to outings. Cut to 2014 - the two have grown up and how. Samaira, who was born in 2005, is now nine, while her cute little brother, born in 2010, is four-years-old. In this picture, they pose for a picture with their father, Delhi-based industrialist Sunjay Kapur. Sunjay, who posted the picture on Father's Day wrote: Being a father is the best job I could ever have. Thank you for the best Father's Day ever. Love you the most! 

Karisma and Sunjay are reportedly in the process of finalising their divorce.

Happy birthday Sonam Kapoor: check out her fashionista cake

Sonam Kapoor brought in her 29th birthday with a small get-together at a city nightclub on June 8.



The event was attended by only a few of the actor’s close friends, including Jacqueline Fernandez and Karisma Kapoor.

“As someone in her extended family had passed away recently, Sonam didn’t want to throw a big birthday bash. So she opted for a low-key and more private celebration. She went to Karan’s (Johar) house for dinner where Ayan (Mukerji) joined them. Then, later in the evening, (sister) Rhea called 10 of her school friends and they all went to a nightclub in Lower Parel,” says a source close to the actor.

The source added, "Unfortunately, Sonam’s good friends Asin and Kareena (Kapoor Khan) couldn’t make it since Asin was out of town and Kareena was busy with a shoot.”

Sister Rhea shared a picture of two of them together and then followed it up with a picture of the birthday cake on Instagram.

Sunjay Kapur files a petition; seeks custody of kids

The trouble between actor Karisma Kapoor and her estranged husband Sunjay Kapur doesn't seem to end. Sunjay recently filed a petition for the custody of their kids, Samaira, 9, and Kiaan, 4, at a family court in Mumbai.

A copy of the petition was sent to Karisma as well.

Rumours are also rife that Karisma doesn't like Sunjay's proximity to hotelier Vikram Chatwal's ex-wife, Priya.

Karisma Kapoor's marriage has been in trouble for a while now. The former actor moved out of her husband's Delhi home with her children sometime after the birth of her son in 2010.

Since then they have been living in a state of quasi separation.

Karisma married Sunjay on September 29, 2003. Their first child Samaira was born on March 11, 2005 and son Kiaan on March 12, 2010.

Assault charge slapped on Saif, 2 friends

The Esplanade court on Thursday framed charges of assault against actor Saif Ali Khan and two others accused of hitting a South African businessman at a five-star hotel in February 2012. Khan and his associates, Shakeel Ladak and Bilal Amrohi, were present in court as charges were framed under sections 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC.

Responding to additional chief metropolitan magistrate S S Gulhane's query, the trio pleaded not guilty.

Public prosecutor Wajid Shaikh said the matter would now be heard on April 30. Saif is expected to attend the hearing unless he seeks exemption. Court documents show he had earlier sought exemptions, citing professional commitments.

Saif, Ladak and Amrohi were arrested after South African resident Iqbal Sharma lodged a complaint after a fight at a restaurant of the hotel on February 22, 2012. They were released on bail after providing a surety of Rs 15,000 each. A 120-page chargesheet, which was filed on December 20, 2012, lists 29 witnesses, more than 15 of them being independent ones. The witnesses include celebrities Malaika Arora Khan, her sister Amrita Arora Ladak and designer Vikram Phadnis who were also present at the dinner. But Saif's wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and her sister Karisma Kapoor, who were also present, have been excluded. The chargesheet includes a copy of the restaurant bill of Rs 66,216, which was paid by Saif.
