Sunny Leone The tag of a former porn star notwithstanding and in spite of not having more than one hit on her Bollywood’s curriculum vitae, Sunny is a huge sex symbol in town. Ask fifty percent of the nation’s population: in other words, men. A high percentage will cast their votes in her favour.

John Abraham There was a time when this guy couldn’t act to save his life. Now, he acts pretty well as was seen in Madras Cafe. But that one candid moment in Dostana is something nobody has been able to forget: because of dislike, envy, awe, whatever. John, yes even now, is a happening sex symbol, although Bipasha Basu may be inclined to disagree.

Priyanka Chopra Some people just hate her. Many cannot stand her singing. But ask the others who are her fans, and you will come across numerous people who just cannot look beyond her. What helps her case is that she is a fine actress too, which showed in her films like 7 Khoon Maaf, Kaminey and Fashion among others.

Ranbir Kapoor If you take a look at him, ‘cute’ sounds like a better and more appropriate word. But, then he takes off his shirt, and many among his fans go ‘ahhhh.’ This chap acts really well, as seen in Rockstar and Barfi among other films. But the single most popular moment of his entire career is from his disastrous debut: Saawariya. Remember him draped in a towel? You should.

Katrina Kaif Katrina is very interesting. She looks extremely attractive on most occasions. But give her an item number (Tees Maar Khan) or another show-stopping song (Dhoom:3), and she transforms herself into a diva who is uninhibited, hot and stunning. Among the chart-toppers any day.

Anees Bazmee avoids clash with Rajkumar Hirani, Aamir Khan

‘Welcome Back’ will not be released on the same day as ‘P.K.

Anees Bazmee’s Welcome Back was originally scheduled for a release in India on December 19. It will now no longer be released on that date as Rajkumar Hirani’s Aamir Khan-starrer P.K. is releasing on the same day.

Bazmee is not interested in creating unnecessary competition. “My producer Feroz Nadiadwala wants us to stick to our December 19 release date. But I see no point in a box office tussle. I’m going to convince him to opt for another release window,” he said.

It isn’t as though Bazmee is not confident of his film. “I’ve my own audience. But why get into an unnecessary tussle at the box office? It is bound to damage one or the other film. I’d rather wait for another opportune Friday.”

“Raju Hirani is a very fine writer and director. On top of that, he is back with his 3 Idiots leading man Aamir Khan. So there’s bound to be fireworks at the box office. Why take the risk of getting burnt?”

The director is currently recording an additional song for the film which he will film in due time when the film’s cast — from Anil Kapoor and John Abraham to Naseeruddin Shah and Nana Patekar — is available.

“I am in no hurry. I have no ambition to create a dhamaka [blast] for Christmas. Any Friday will work as long as another big film is not lined up for the same day,” he said.

Yes, I am in love with Harman: Bipasha

A day after Harman Baweja announced to the world that he is dating Bipasha Basu, she came out and "stated the obvious" that she is also in love with Harman. She said this on her twitter account.

Bipasha Basu  -"Stating the obvious!Yes Harman n Me r a couple :) Finally I have met a person who is a far better human being than I am.Blessed."

Not that Bipasha wanted to make the declaration. On Tuesday, when questioned whether she will be attending IIFA with Harman, Bipasha had said, "I am going to IIFA alone. So I am looking for an eligible bachelor there." She had earlier said she was waiting for a proposal.

Bipasha is all set to perform at the IIFA awards in Tampa Bay, Florida. 

Harman and Bipasha profess love for each other.

That statement didn't look very good for Harman who had said earlier in the day, "Our starting to see each other was very organic. Barring the fitness factor, we are very similar. She (Bips) is a simple, straight-forward and honest girl who is caring and loving. For both of us, family and friends mean the most in the world and we are both emotional, caring and simple," Harman had said.

On Wednesday, the actor took to her Twitter account to announce that she and Baweja are a couple. She said that she feels blessed to have finally met Baweja, who according to her is a far better human being than she is. 

In an earlier tweet, the actor had said, "(I) am in a very happy space in my personal life and it would be fair if people just respect that and not speculate."

Basu has earlier dated Bollywood actors Dino Morea and John Abraham. She and Abraham had an acrimonious break-up; he allegedly married girlfriend Priya Runchal earlier this year in a hush-hush ceremony. 

According to media reports, Bipasha and Harman are likely to tie the knot this year.

Couples we want to see get married

You know that famous self-help book, ‘Who moved My Cheese?’ They ought to start another one called, ‘Who moved my Fire?’ starring B-Town couples with relationships icy cold enough to put Café frappe to shame. We want masala, guys! The sort that gets us hooked onto tabloids. And if you can’t give us that either, then just get married okay? At least, then we’ll have something interesting to read about. 

So here’s a list of all the couple who should get married already! 

Kareena-Saif 

The Chota Nawab of Pataudi is supposed to be quite a charmer. When he ended his relationship with Rossa, we thought the Khan wasn’t going to get any luckier. But he surprises us all with his new arm candy. And by that we of course mean the gorgeous Miss Kareena Kapoor. Now that’s the fire we’re talking about. A forty five year old dating someone almost half his age. Everybody was convinced they wouldn’t last. Fidelity isn’t exactly one of B-Town’s favourite virtue. But, seeing a couple embrace it the way they have, has really put the fire out, hasn’t it? So marriage should definitely happen. And none of those tacky interviews saying ‘I’m too busy thinking about my career as of now.’

Bipasha-John 

I think if there was an award for the fittest couple in Bollywood, it would definitely go to the two of them. But John’s bulging biceps and Bipasha’s washboard abs are getting a little boring now. If they want to make headlines, they’re going to have to do something other than spend their entire day at the gym or gulp the tenth glass of protein shake. So we repeat, get married now or just split! 

Katrina-Salman 

Here’s a couple that completely denies being in a relationship. We were okay with that until co-stars were getting beaten up for making a pass at Katrina, and Salman was playing the macho man he likes playing on screen. And now that’s no one’s getting beaten up or slapped, marriage would certainly do us some good. At least then, we can see Salman play daddy by the time he is old enough to be grand-dad. 

Nandita-Dino 

Dino may not be doing too many films now, but his own love story is quite filmy. He and Nandita have been so in love with each other, that it seems impossible to spot one without the other. They’ve had their share of make-ups and break ups and their share of rebounds too. But no matter what they do or who they date, they keeping getting back together. Get married already or let us have Dino, because it seems such a waste to have someone as eligible as him committed! 

Lara-Mahesh 

Lara Dutta and tennis ace Mahesh Bhupati, kept us guessing for a long time. Even when they walked arm in arm for the 55th Filmfare Awards, Lara claimed he was just her date. With all the hush-hush and ‘we just enjoy each other’s company’ this relationship has been stale form day one. We want to see some drama, guys! How about publicly confessing your love for one another? May be the sort that involves Mahesh getting down on his knees...
