Salman Khan was always known as a man fighting for causes. Recently another feather was added to his cap as the summit organized by his Being Human Foundation in Dubai was a huge success. The organization that is fighting for peace and harmony amongst neighbouring countries saw big names from both Pakistan and India attending the extravaganza. A friendly T20 match was also organized between the Indians and the Pakistanis during this event. Interestingly, and exhibiting true sportsmanship, Shaoib Malik played in this match for India, while his newly wedded wife Sania Mirza cheered him on.

Names such as Sohail Khan & Arbaaz Khan, Atul Agnihotri ,cricketers Shoaib Akhtar & Shoaib Malik ,director David Dhawan, actors Riteish Deshmukh, Sharman Joshi, Sanjay Kapoor, Vatsal Seth, Suneil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Javed Jaffery , Humayun Saeed, Ejaz Aslam, Faisal Qureshi, Moammar Rana, Javed Sheikh and singer Atif Aslam, among others lighted up the peace promoting event. Salman Khan said, “What will come out of the match is India and Pakistan not playing against each other, but playing together and walking together”, in the true spirit of harmony. “If money can save a life and we have it, we will do it.” he added.

The even concluded with a gala dinner and a glittering fashion show. The amount raised will go to Salman’s Being Human foundation.
