Katrina Kaif’s new ‘serious’ agenda

By ApunKaChoice
The feel of power

After her reel tryst with the murky world of politics for her filmRaajneeti, actress Katrina Kaif now wants to meet the real women of power and that’s her new serious agenda.

In fact, her director Prakash Jhacouldn’t even understand her level of seriousness, but was soon made to realize it so that he can make the arrangements for Ms Kaif to meet the leading ladies of Indian politics like Delhi’s Chief Minster Sheila Dikshit, Congress spokesperson Ambika Soni and the elegant Congress member Priyanka Gandhi Vadhera.

Now that’s quite serious. Actually, Katrina observed these ladies minutely to prepare for her character Indu in ‘Raajneeti’. Jha had even given Katrina video recordings of Sheila Dikshit, Ambika Soni, Priyanka Gandhi and Indira Gandhi to watch and learn.

The excited actress is now getting ready to meet them all but regrets that she can’t meet Indira Gandhi. She is quoted as saying: “My only regret is I can’t meet Mrs Indira Gandhi. Apart from my mother, she’s the woman who has inspired me the most.”

Well, according to a daily, Prakash Jha also wants the government to be positive about his film. As the movie deals with a political scenario, the director is hoping that once these ladies of the ruling party watch ‘Raajneeti’ they’ll recommend the film for exemption from entertainment tax in main centres.

‘Raajneeti’ brings back the Katrina-Ranbir jodi on silver screen once again.
