Raajneeti has invited lots of controversies leading up to its release next Friday, June 4. You may called it a publicity stunt but the fact is that the makers of the film themselves are not comfortable with some of the scenes. The love-making scene involving Arjun Rampal and a theatres actress turned out to be too hot to handle.
The news is doing the rounds that Arjun asked the director Prakash Jha to delete the love-making scene, as it would not go down well with his wife and daughter. The actress involved too requested the director not to include her name in the credits. So, the makers of the film deleted the particular scene before submitting it to the Censor Board. However, they are adamant on including it in its DVD version.
The film was under scanner a few days with the Censor Board refusing to issue certificate, but later overruled by the appellate tribunal and issued a U/A certificate. The Censor Board was not happy with the character played by Katrina Kaif, as it resembles Sonia Gandhi. Adding more salt to the wound, the Congress representatives viewed it before being sent for censorship and demanded an adult tag.
