SRK lends his voice to Karan's Luv Stories

No matter how much he denies it, the fact is that Shah Rukh Khan has always tried to follow Amitabh Bachchan.
Be it films, TV shows, endorsement deals or even stage shows abroad, SRK always seems to be 'inspired' by Big B. And now, SRK is following Big B into the dubbing studio.
Shah Rukh will lend his voice for Karan Johar's latest film I hate Luv Stories directed by Punit Malhotra.
He will not be dubbing for any character.
A source says: "It was a lastminute decision to use SRK's voice. Karan wanted a simple narration for the film. So, he requested SRK." Since Karan and Shah Rukh are great friends, the actor instantly agreed. " Karan requested SRK and he instantly agreed. We hear that it's a simple narration - the kind we saw in the film Mohabbatein. It is believed SRK is not too keen on giving voice-overs. He has turned down requests by many filmmakers. But with Karan, it is different and he could not refuse," the source added.
"SRK's voice will be used in the first five minutes of the movie when its lead cast is introduced." When it comes to I Hate Luv Stories, those who have seen the rushes claim that both Imran and Sonam look good together.
Imran gets more prominence but Sonam looks great in the film. According to Punit, SRK's voice was needed in the film because there are several references drawn from the actor and his films in the movie. " That makes his voice more relevant," he added.
