Amrita wanted to be Miss Universe

Amrita Rao is quite happy.

She just got to be a judge at the I Am She contest which has come up with a girl who will be representing India at the Miss Universe pageant.

This is the first time she was a judge at the programme and what got her excited was that she wanted to be a Miss Universe as a child.

"When Miss Universe Crown came home in 1994, I recall every girl and her sister wanted to be Miss Universe and I was no exception," says the actress. The I Am She contest which just concluded was initiated by Sushmita Sen and Amrita just could not say no when Sush asked her.

The two had met during Main Hoon Naa and in the film Sush was seen groming Amrita to look beautiful. Looks like this was payback time!
