Hrithik Roshan is back in business with ‘Kites’. After ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, this Anurag Basu directed movie will be his next big release. The actor who went through a knee surgery after the release of ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ was keeping a low profile for 2 years.
“After Jodhaa Akbar I was treating my knee for six months. I did a lot of things during that time. I didn’t think of acting as I didn’t want to compromise with my work,” says Hrithik.
Recalling the time as one of the learning phases of life Hrithik informs that he went under depression for six months when his knee surgery failed to cure his pain. “I did a lot of things to cure my knee. I was in depression for six months. I did Chinese therapy, ayurvedic treatments, visited more than 35 to 40 specialists and tried local massage too. But nothing helped.”
Hrthik informs that he emerged out of the phase because of his own faith and belief. “My knee pain was severe thus I was resting for more than six moths but when I heard the script of ‘Kites’ from Anurag Basu, I thought its god’s sign for me. I felt as if all y questions are answered. I jumped out of my chair and told my wife ‘Everything will fall into place’,” explains an excited Hrithik.
He continues, “I believe miracles are nothing but manifestation of our perseverance. My pain got 50% lesser on the first day of the shoot and after a week I got relief from my knee problem. It was unbelievable and I started flying after that,” he quips.
