Bollywood divas are loved and admired for their glam quotient. But when it comes to demand for the role, our actresses don't mind playing down their hot self. We take a look at some of the glam babes who have gone de-glam playing a character. 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: She’s a true diva. But she didn’t give a second thought to deciding to shed her glam look. For Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan', Ash will be seen without make-up. The actress has earlier experimented with the simple look on-screen for movies like, 'Provoked', 'Chokker Bali' and 'Mistress Of Spices'. 

Katrina Kaif: She will be seen sans make-up in Prakash Jha's political saga, 'Raajneeti'. The actress opted to be simple and sober for the role to get the right feel of the character. Kat is quite a natural beauty, we must say. 

Bipasha Basu: Sensuous, sexy and stylish... all the things you associate with the sultry Bipasha will go missing as she plays a Kashmiri girl in the political thriller 'Lamhaa'. The actress looks confident to pull off a no-make up look. 

Priyanka Chopra: The hottest diva of Bollywood, Priyanka will also been seen in a no make-up look for the upcoming movie 'Saat Khoon Maaf'. The actress is not new to this look on-screen as she got critical acclaim for her same look in Vishal Bharadwaj’s 'Kaminey'. 

Kareena Kapoor: Even before the size-zero babe of Bollywood could make her mark in the industry Kareena experimented with her looks and roles in B-town. The actress took a bold step by going de-glam in her very first film 'Refugee' and critically acclaimed 'Dev'. 

Preity Zinta: She went simple and plain for her role in the movies 'Heroes' and 'Heaven On Earth'. With a pretty face and dimpled smile, Preity succeeded in pulling off the role. 

Lara Dutta: She opted for a plain Jane look as she played a village belle in Billu Barber. 

Urmila Matondkar: She shed her inhibitions for her roles in the movies 'Pinjar' and 'Ek Hasina Thi'. In totally contrast to her glam doll image, Urmila went de-glam and won critical acclaim for her acting skills. 

Shilpa Shetty: The ever-stylish and gorgeous actress too went for some experimentation with her looks on-screen. For her role in the movie 'Phir Milenge', Shilpa decided to go simple. 

Raima Sen: The latest actress to join in the bandwagon is Sen-sational Raima. The actress has also shed her make-up and went for a simple look in the latest film 'The Japanese Wife' opposite Rahul Bose.

Karishma Kapoor: She may have given the silver screen a miss in the last few years, but the actress has tried her acting in each and every aspect. She played a simple girl in the movie 'Fiza' where despite having no make-up on, she looked stunning. 

Sushmita Sen: She appeared without any make-up in 'RGV Ki Aag'. Ram Gopal Verma told the actress to shed her inhibitions and face the camera without it. Sush did not contest the director’s will and pulled off her no make-up look with élan
