Kurbaan’s music liked so far

Mumbai: It has only been a few weeks that the promos of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Kurbaan’ hit the television screens. But the music of the film seems to be attracting attention so far.

The music in the film is given by Salim-Sulaiman. There are five originals and one remix in the album.
The slow paced number Ali maula is sung by Salim himself. It is quite impactful and the song also has a remixed version which is faster.
The title track ‘Kurbaan Hua’ lend by Vishal Dadlani is a power packed number. It seems to be going well with the movie backdrop.
The song ‘Dua’ is sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Kailash Kher. With such talented singers the song sounds interesting as it has a touch of qawwali beginning with lyrics in English rendered by Marianne D’Cruz Aiman.
In the melodious voice of Shruti Pathak, another track is ‘Rasiya’. It is a sensual one with a semi-classical touch.
Last but not the least, a romantic number ‘Shukran allah’ sung by Sonu Niigaam, Shreya Ghoshal and Salim Merchant. Its quite a likeable one.
It is worth checking out the album once.
