At 5'9", (just four inches short of Amitabh Bachchan!) Pooja Batra could very well be the third tallest lead girl ever on Indian screen (the first two could be Yooktha Mukhey and Sushmita Sen).
Pooja shot to fame in 1993, when she was crowned Miss India. She was one of the top Indian models of the 1990s, and walked the ramp for over 250 fashion shows in India and abroad.
Memorable Pooja Batra movies are 'Viraasat', 'Naayak', 'Haseena Maan Jayegi' and 'Taj Mahal'. She has also acted in South Indian movies.
Pooja Batra was born on October 27, 1973, in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, to Ravi Batra and Neelam. Pooja has two (twin) brothers.
