Indians in Time's 100 Most Influential List
Nine Indians made it to the Time magazine's annual list of 100 most influential people this year. The list was divided into four categories namely heroes, thinkers, leaders and artists.
Leading the nation into the ranks of great powers, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was at the 19th spot in the Leaders list headed by Brazilian President Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula da Silva.
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar got the 13th place among 25 Heroes headed by former US president Bill Clinton.
Author Chetan Bhagat of the One Night @ the Call Centre and Five Point Someone fame is the only Indian in the list of Artists headed by singer Lady Gaga.
Nobel prize winner economist Amartya Sen is 20th on the "Thinkers" list. Aishwarya Rai topped the Time 100 Alumnae list. Here's a look at all the Indians who featured on the list.
