The new serial kissers of Bollywood

Sushant Singh Rajput seems to be the new actor to join the serial kisser bandwagon. According to a report in DNA, Sushant and co-star Swastika Mukherjee have shot the longest kissing scene for their upcoming film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. The report quoted director Dibakar Banerjee stating that he wanted to throw Sushant Singh off guard and hence he had not briefed the actor about his intentions of shooting a lengthy kissing scene. 

The report further stated that Sushant was displeased at the end of it, but when he saw the final shot, he seemed fine with it. Previously he had kissing scenes in Shuddh Desi Romance and is all set to share a hot lip-lock with Anushka Sharma in PK. The actor seems uninhibited when it comes to locking lips on the silver screen. While Sushant may give Emraan Hashmi a run for his money, read on to know about the other competitors in the industry. 

Siddharth Malhotra, who entered Bollywood with the film Student Of The Year, kissed Alia Bhatt in the movie. In his next film Hasee Toh Phasee, the actor was again seen in a hot lip-lock with Parineeti Chopra. 

He also kissed Shraddha Kapoor in his next, Ek Villain! 

Arjun Kapoor too is on his way to be the next serial kisser. The actor has emerged as an expert in love-making scenes. In his debut film Ishaqzaade, he was seen kissing Parineeti and in his next film Aurangzeb the actor was seen doing intimate acts with Sashaa Agha. Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt set the temperatures soaring as they kissed onscreen in 2 States. 

While talking about his intimate moments, Arjun said in an interview to TOI, "It's the most natural thing to do. When a man falls in love, the first thing he will do is to kiss the girl. I think Emraan has broken the myth. Also, the audience today is sensible and understands the context of a scene. The love-making scene was integral to Ishaqzaade and Aurangzeb and was done aesthetically. We did not do it to add sleaze." 

Ranveer Singh too is the new entrant in the gang of kissers. The actor was confident with his chemistry in his debut film Band Baaja Baarat with Anushka Sharma and was seen getting involved in a hot lip-lock. Further, he was seen kissing Deepika Padukone in Ram Leela. He was also snapped planting a kiss on Deepika's cheek at the Hello! Awards.

Ranbir Kapoor, who did a kissing scene with his ex-flame Deepika Padukone in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is confident about his scenes. He even had a a kissing scene with Southern hottie Ileana D'Cruz in Barfi! In an interview with the Times Of India, Ranbir said, "Kissing onscreen is extremely technical! 

You have to see if the light is coming right, if your face is in the right position for the camera. Besides there are so many people around! I am an actor and it's a part of my acting. I also don't usually need retakes. I am a good kisser."

PK team plans to hold special screening for Sanjay Dutt

The crew of upcoming film 'PK' is planning a special screening for the film's pivotal actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently in the Yerwada jail. Aamir Khan along with film's director RajKumar Hirani and female lead Anushka Sharma unveiled the film's first trailer last evening here.

Asked if the team is holding any special screening for Dutt, Aamir said, "We are planning to write a letter to the authority if we can screen the film for Sanjay Dutt and all the people there. So he can watch the film." Dutt, 55, shot for his portions in the comedy-drama before going to the jail last year to serve his remaining term in the 1993 bomb blast case.

In the third motion poster of 'PK', which was released last month, Dutt was introduced in a bandmaster avatar, while Aamir sported an ill-fitted khakhi uniform.

WATCH: Aamir Khan's 'PK' teaser trailer

Aamir Khan unveiled the teaser of his forthcoming film "PK" on Diwali Thursday and the superstar hopes the movie tastes success.

"Coincidently my films have been releasing during Christmas and each year, I have been showing the trailer during Diwali. So, we decided to do the same this Diwali as well. I hope the film works for us," Aamir told reporters here during the teaser launch of "PK".

He previously tasted box office successes with "Taare Zameen Par", "Ghajini" and "3 Idiots", which all came out during Christmas.

And it seems like the new Rajkumar Hirani directorial will join the list of his successful movies as Aamir, often referred to as "Mr. Perfectionist", has again put in his best to make his character look convincing.

"I am not used to eating paan, but for this film I have eaten as many as 50 to 60 paans in a day because of my character. We used to have a paanwala on the sets," he said.


The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.

Talking about the film, Aamir said: "Like Raj Kumar's other films even this film will have a strong message. This is the toughest role of my career. I have hardly blinked in this film because of my character".

"I can't reveal much as the crux of the story will get revealed. There are lot of rumours. People feel that I am playing a double role, some feel I am playing an alien but wait till the film releases," he added.

Will Aamir Khan's 'PK' break 'Dhoom 3's' record?

As the famous adage goes- There is no such thing as bad publicity and Bollywood's perfectionist Aamir Khan knows it very well. His upcoming movie 'PK' has garnered enough publicity to generate curiosity among the moviegoers. The clever marketing strategy to standout in the crowd can only be Aamir Khan's idea.

Firstly, the actor got the tongues wagging with the 'PK' poster, in which the actor posed almost in the buff with a radio strategically placed to hide his modesty. And as if the Indian audience couldn't get enough of Aamir Khan's naked body, there also came a news that his poster is a rip-off of Quim Barreiros' poster. We guess that this is just the tip of the iceberg and there's a lot more to be seen until the movie releases on December 19.

Aamir Khan's last movie 'Dhoom 3' had broken all box-office records and entered the 500 crore club, thereby becoming one of its kind to have profited so much. And looking at the strategies made by the perfectionist, we guess his movie 'PK' will definitely break all records and even earn more than 'Dhoom 3'.

Aamir Khan's PK talking standee removed from theatres

After Aamir Khan created a huge uproar appearing in the buff in the recently released poster of 'PK', he followed it up by churning out another marketing genius of sorts! Aamir also had some talking standees of his 'PK' avatar installed in the theatres which spoke back to people whenever they came close to the standee.

Now, it is heard that Gaiety-Galazy theatres had been asked to remove the posters after a group of women complained to the police about the poster. The poster, deemed as 'vulgar' and 'obscene' by the group was asked to be removed from the theatres. 

The policemen asked Manoj Desai, the theatre owner to remove the standee, to which he kindly obliged because he did not want any further hassles. When asked Desai about the incident, he felt that such posters were bound to raise eyebrows and he did not understand why an actor of Aamir's stature would boil down to such cheap publicity measures. 

Few days back, it was reported that Aamir's 'PK' poster was copied. But the bottom line is, Aamir and team has got what they sought out for. Love or hate it, you simply cannot ignore the 'PK' poster and that's definitely what was on Aamir's agenda, we guess!

PK poster: Here are five posers for the very naked Aamir Khan

Bollywood, rejoice! You're finally an adult. Though we can't promise that you've gotten our hearts aflutter with your coming-of-age, but Aamir Khan definitely deserves a hat tip for having dared to appear almost in the buff.

The actor deserves extra credit for going ahead with the photo-shoot because he's not the one you'd think of first when you think of actors with an aversion to pants. He looks alarmed, the kind of alarm you'd expect to see on Rahul Gandhi's face if someone told him he has won an election. Or on Yo Yo Honey Singh's face if you asked him to write two sentences without references to girls, booze or a party in them. Or on Poonam Pandey's face if you told her Twitter's going to shut down.

So here are a few questions that cross our mind after Khan uncovered himself for our benefit on Twitter.

1. Will Veet consider replacing Katrina Kaif with Aamir Khan in its commercials? You could still maybe spot a hair on Prem Chopra's head, but on Aamir Khan in this poster? No way! If that's not evidence of fabulous hair-removal machinery at work, we don't know what is.

Which also brings us to the question of metro-sexuality. Given that Khan is seen in a (slightly dangerous) public space like on train tracks, will he paunch-shame Indian men to never appear in public until they have a bundle of muscles for a body? That's sure going to be one big public-funded first step for the beautification of public spaces in the country. Given our skewed gender balance, we're sure it'd be a successful one too.

2. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film promises to be a "satire on Hindu gods and their godmen", which raises the obvious next question: will Aamir Khan be chased out of Twitter? Or will Dinanath Batra demand Bollywood and Aamir Khan be included in the list of India's greatest ailment in school textbooks, alongside malaria?

Since sections of the country were up in arms against a Sunny Leone poster from Jism 2 and Ramlila Maidan's romance with Arvind Kejriwal is almost over, will we see the birth of a new breed of slogan-chanters, thanks to naked Aamir Khan who intends to take on Hindu godmen? Also, as we are on issue of Hindu godmen, will Baba Ramdev now think twice before flashing his armpits as a traumatised country watches in horror. Though chances are he will offer an ayurvedic pill to boost the immunity of body hair to Khan, we can still afford to be a little optimistic, right?

3. Will Khan pull a Ranbir Kapoor and completely dethrone the latter's butt from its hitherto un-threatened pedestal? Kapoor could have remained as only as memorable as Amisha Patel, given how well Sawaariyaa did at the box-offices. However, it was the promise of his posterior behind a towel that kept him afloat in public memory and saw him through to his next film. The rest is history. You cannot also blame Kapoor for not rewarding loyalists. In Besharam (2013), Kapoor  awarded a glimpse of his butt-crack for full five seconds, making sure his butt glory remains intact.

The question is, will Aamir Khan finally manage to do the impossible? Or will only the rail tracks visible on the poster know who won the butt battle between Kapoor and Khan?

4. And then, will the transistor find new takers? Given the length (no pun intended) it has gone to in order to stage a comeback, it definitely deserves a second lease of life.

5. Finally, after PK, will Aamir Khan promise to cover up? For good, that is. Will he realise that he has had enough of enjoying his right to strip in a democracy and take pity on us watchers? Because that bust (and we deliberately call it a bust), is fast on its way to replace Rekha's wig from Khoon Bhari Maang as the weirdest thing to have ever struck Bollywood.

Aamir Khan's 'PK' to release on December 19

The release of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's much-awaited film 'PK' has been preponed and it will now hit cinema houses on December 19, almost a week prior to its previous scheduled date.

'PK' marks the second collaboration of Aamir with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani following the success of '3 Idiots'.

"Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Disney India, confirm that PK shall release on December 19, 2014," a statement read.

Aamir, 48, had taken to social networking site Facebook and had announced that the film will hit theatres on Christmas this year.

The film stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt in prominent roles.
