The high-flying beauties of the city just love each reason to meet and greet. For this one, they made it all the way to hotel Ibis at Sector 53, Gurgaon to celebrate the launch of Levo, a swish Spalon — a spa and salon combo.
Delhi-babe Minissha Lamba, still basking in the glory of Shyam Benegal’s Well Done Abba, was the star-attraction at the launch do. She couldn’t help talking excitedly about her upcoming Sagar Ballary’s Hum, Tum Aur Shabana.
“I am really enjoying doing comedy, but I am bit scared for it and hope that I get my comic timing right,” she said. Minissha also said that as of now she is happy being single, and wishes her ideal man to self-made and reserved.
“I understand how tough it’s to find time off a busy schedule to first get revitalise at a spa and then get beauty treatment at a salon. I decided to make life easy and came up with this idea,” said Nandita Suri, director, Levo.

Hello Johnny
He didn’t rip it off from any of the “Johnny-named” movies in Bollywood. Neither did he try to follow what his colleagues from B-schools have done. “No, Johnny Gone Down has nothing to do with Johnny Gaddar and Johnny Mera Naam,” said Karan Bajaj, while launching his sophomore book, Johnny Gone Down at The Park.
“I read it in two days. It’s a fast paced book, which is candidly entertaining. And yes, it’s good to know that Brazilian woman are falling for Indian men,” opines Vir Das on a humorous note.
“I don’t think this book is a political or social documentary. Looks like more of a honest account of an author and the places his character goes to,” we heard a guest saying to another.
