Mamata had agreed to pose nude when all leading actress of the time has refused. Mamta's bold act was the greatest threat to Divya Bharti who was very popular then. Like Divya, Mamta too had an innocent face and a sexy body. And this shoot made her one of the most wanted stars of Bollywood. She wanted to become very rich and was ready to go to any extent. She had a relationship with Vivek Goswami who was into drug trafficking. Now he is in jail. Jayesh Sheth has written a story on a girl very similar to Mamta.
