Bale Pandiya audio launched

The audio launch of AGS Entertainment’s Bale Pandiyawas a grand affair attended by the bigwigs of Kollywood on Sunday morning at the Sathyam cinemas.
Directed by publicity designer turned debut director Siddharth Chandrasekar, the film starsVennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame Vishnu and Goa girl Pia Bajpai along with Gibran who plays villain and debuts in films.
The audio was launched in a unique manner displaying the director’s penchant to think out of the box. After the trailer and two songs, a live songHappy was sung by around 14 playback singers who mingled with the audience before reaching the stage. The song had no instrumentation and was then screened for the viewers who watched in delight. The music is by the Rahman find Devan Ekambaram from the US who is a playback singer now turned music director with this film.
The audio launch saw the presence of stalwarts Vaali, AR Murgadoss, Rama Narayana, VC Guhanathan, KV Anand, Parthiban, Susindran, RK Selvamani, Kalaipuli Sekar, director Vijay, SP Jananathan, Thamarai, AM Raja, RNR Manohar, Venkat Prabhu and the lead pair along with the producers Kalpathi S Aghoram and his brothers Ganesh and Suresh.
Director Siddharth then called a number of members from his production unit and the technical team to each present an audio CD to all dignitaries on the dais and thus launched the audio officially in this novel manner.
“I wanted to thank my technicians and this was the best way to do it,” said Sidharth. FEFSI chief Guhanathan was touched by his gesture to honour technicians in this way. Thamarai and Vaali have composed the lyrics and Thamarai appreciated the fact that fresh music directors like Devan gave her the freedom and enthusiasm to come up with something new. AR Murgadoss was all praise for Siddharth’s contribution and ideas as designer during the making of Ghajini and said, “After seeing the songs I am now curious to see the film.”
The ‘Happy’ song penned by Vaali was lauded by many present and Vijay proclaimed, “This song will win greater acclaim than the All is Well song in 3 Idiots.” The highlight of this number is also the fact that 20 playback singers are featured in various get ups on screen ranging from Ranjith and Rahul Nambiar to Paravai Muniamma and Divya.
Parthiban proclaimed that after this film people will say Bale Siddharth to show their appreciation.
The movie borrows only the title from the yesteryear classic but is a complete love, action and romance flick with Vishnu doing dances and stunts for the first time in an attempt to break away from his debut village boy image. Dr Burn was flown in from Malaysia to sing the song Ivan Thedal Vettai while the song Aaradha Kobamillai was shot in Phuket and the world famous James Bond Island. One fight sequence was shot in a luxury yatch with over 100 technicians.
Siddharth is the grandson of RS Mani, editor, producer and writer of films like Kannagi, Punar Janmam and Maman Magal.
