Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan, who is shooting for Dabanng inMahabaleshwar, had some unexpected visitors on the sets. Thirty children from a neighbouring village had walked for about two hours in the heat just to get a glimpse of him. They insisted that they would not return home till they got to see Salman.
A source says, “When Salman heard this he immediately asked his production crew to allow them inside the sets and give some food and water to them. As soon as one of his shots got over, he met the children. Salman even allowed them to see some of the shooting.”
Post the shoot, Salman played with the kids. The source adds, “Salman then asked his assistant to head to a nearby market and buy bicycles for all the kids. Salman did not want the children to walk for two hours again to their homes.”
Salman says, “By God’s grace I have enough to have a good life. I feel if God has given you enough to live happily, you should give away the excess to help others who are not so fortunate. There is no greater joy than seeing people smile.”
