His father’s son

B town is well aware of Amitabh Bachchan’s penchant for being punctual and dedicated at work. But the industry recently found out that Abhishek has inherited the same streak from his father.

While shooting for Dum Maro Dum, Abhi sprained his back. The pain was excruciating and everyone on the sets thought the actor was down for the knock. The doctor also advised him to take complete bed rest for a while.

However, Abhi and wife Aishwarya had already committed to shoot for a beauty soap commercial. Since allotting dates is difficult because of their tight schedules, the ad team was also on standby so they could wrap up the shoot.

Keeping this in mind, Abhi merely popped some painkillers and shot for the commercial, going against the doctor’s orders. The ad, showing Ash and Abhi at their glamorous best against the backdrop of London, was shot without a hitch. Like father, like son.
